Hey everyone! I'm Haylee and not only am I still fairly new to snakes but I also haven't used a forum even close to this since like 2012.... so doing my best to figure it out. I used to be terrified of snakes until one of my friends introduced me to her California king and since he's the dorkiest animal I have ever met I realized they aren't that bad. She had to re home him two Christmas's ago and I decided to buy him for my snake obsessed boyfriend (now Fiance). Since he was both of our first snakes/reptiles and his old owner wasn't the best at taking care of him properly, we are still learning as we go. We both love him to death and he likes being handled, but I am constantly paranoid that we aren't caring for him well enough even though he seems to be perfectly healthy and growing strong.
I wanted to get some advice and after looking at a few forums noticed most hadn't been posted in since like the early 2000's and saw this one was a bit different. Excited to learn something new and maybe meet some friendly people
