Exclamation Emergencies.

I really think we should have a thread outlining things we should have ready for reptiles in case of an emergency- just in case. This can be anything, it can be specific to one reptile or a universal thing. Heating, humidity, feeding, cooling, injuries, anything to do with reptile health and husbandry.

E.g in case of a power outage a good heat source would be 40 hour heating pads which are pretty cheap and easy to find, and peak at a safe temp.

Let me know your thoughts.

Re: Emergencies.

A vet trip is a much more likely emergency than a power loss, tornado (this coming from an Oklahoman), hurricane, or snow storm, etc...

Having an emergency fund to pay for a vet for sick animal care is one "contingency" that is way too often overlooked. Unfortunately, the animal is the one who pays the price.

Super true. Always have money for the vet.
