Clay sloped Bank for Water feature

So I am wondering if anyone has used bentonite clay as a barrier for a water feature? This kind of clay is the same stuff they use to make ponds in the ground, and it would allow me to make more of a natural slope to it. Thoughts, opinions and Ideas, all welcome. Also has anyone put an aquarium inside of their enclosures? Like an 80 gal aquarium with shrimp and snails an stuff. Just playing around with ideas. Thanks guys

Re: Clay sloped Bank for Water feature

I have personally never done it, I do know someone who had a 100 gallon tank in their basilisk tank and it did not turn out well for the fish at all. The lizards kept pooping in the water, crushing the decor and the snails, throwing bedding in, it was horrible for the water quality, all the fish and shrimp etc ended up dying rather quickly. I have never seen anyone use that clay so can't help you there.
