Question Rosy boa question

Aside from Ryan (who is awesome of course), is there any other place to get the Catavina locality of rosy boa? He did not get any liters this year. Internet searches not showing much. Any direction would be appreciated! Could wait another year, I suppose.

Probably have to wait or just see what pops up on classifieds. You can check into Euro breeders as importing/exporting have become much easier.

Re: Rosy boa question

My Rosy is not the prettiest, but it is certainly the rarest of all the localities. She is a wild caught Carlsbad Rosy Boa. They are supposedly extremely hard to find and so far I haven’t met anyone with this locality online or at the shows. They are such awesome snakes. Before I knew what it was I was 100% certain it was an escaped pet with its temperament. I stumbled across her at Petco where some construction worker discovered her in his bag after returning from a job site in the middle of the Carlsbad desert. But apparently rosy boas are the slowest snakes in the world lol.

Re: Rosy boa question

That is a wild story! Would be interested in a picture of that locality. Rosy boas are pretty darn cool. I've got the patterns in time book on them and after seeing the pictures in there and on Ryan's website, going to wait on finding the Catavina. There is like only one video that I've seen on that locality, too. Dude was totally elated to have a pair of them from Ryan.
