RHP in glass terrarium

Has anyone used an RHP in a glass terrarium with a screen top? If so, please reply with some instruction for this former Okie.

Re: RHP in glass terrarium

Am interesting in this subject. The RHP's are working very well in the plastic cages. Have wondered if one of the smallest RHP's would work in the gecko's new glass terrarium.

Re: RHP in glass terrarium

I have a RHP in an Exo Terra Glass terrarium. I've just cutted a piece on plexiglass half the size of the mesh ceiling. Put the plexy on top of the mesh and screwed the RHP in. Not at home now, but I'll try to post a picture

Re: RHP in glass terrarium

Thanks fedeCF. No need for a pic. Do you use a thermostat? If so, how do you position the temperature probe?

Re: RHP in glass terrarium

Found an example on Youtube of someone's set up with an RHP in an Exo Terra terrarium:

Part 2 shows the RHP setup:

Here is part 1 which I've not watched yet:

Am not commenting on whether this is a good set up. Just thought I would present it.

Re: RHP in glass terrarium

Thanks kudzu,
I watched both videos. Cletus gives some good advice and does not spare any details.
