Urgent !!!!!

My friend has a Gekko vittatus (A.k.a. Lined gecko)and when it started shedding everything seems ok at first but he stopped eating and started becoming extremely skinny he was a chubby little guy but now he won’t eat when his enclosure gets misted he will drink but that’s all and he has some skin irritation please help what do I do please help !!!

What kind of enclosure? What are the temps and humidity? Has your friend been weighing the gecko? How long has your friend had the gecko? Do you have any pics to share?

This sounds like a matter for a vet to properly assess, but answering these questions would be a good start.
