Sinaloan snake problems!

My 12 year old Sinaloan Milk was in shed, and everything seemed fine. Today I went to feed her and she didn't seem interested in food, which is very odd. After 15 minutes of no interest I moved the mouse to see that there was stuck shed on the snakes body, and the first three inches of snake looks contorted and will not straighten out.

The snake is in a smaller quarantine tank with moist coconut chips to aid in the skin, but what could the other symptom be? Movement is a bit erratic. I just don't know whats going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've had this snake it's entire life.

I took the snake in to the local animal ER, and got no help whatsoever. They wanted to do lots of labwork(which is sensible but costly) and offered no suggestions as to the cause or condition. palpation will not straighten the neck out, and the movement is erratic at best. I have made the decision to have the snake put down tomorrow. I do not see any other solution.

It doesn't look bad in the photo, but in person you can really see the issue. It hasn't moved from where I set it down last night. It feels weak and when touched behaves very oddly. All the kinks up to the second yellow band will not come out.

Sorry to hear, beautiful snake too. At 12, could it be an old age related problem?

Is he eating? Does he seem to be in pain? If he's in pain I'd end his suffering. If he seems normal I'd just let him live out his days and try to keep him as comfortable as possible.

Sorry for the late response. My best guess(since the vet had no advice) was that somehow a stuck she'd got stuck over it's nostrils, which led to a panicked thrash which injured it's neck. The low oxygen led to a neurological problem, because the snake showed clear signs of that(erratic moving and odd responses to stimulus). The snake would drink if put near water, but could not move in any real direction or eat. I had to put it down. Thanks for the input, and I'll answer any questions if you have 'em.
