Enclosure questions

So I recently picked up this enclosure.. Its 48x20x13. Its a nice setup.. the front doors need replaced as the one has a broken corner.. I got a call in and each panel will run me about $9 in lexan. So I have a couple question I hoping someone can help answer for me as I have not really found anything about changing the outside box color. I know they used to make a product called Krylov FUSION spray paint. I used to use it in my home aquariums to paint PVC black. It actually was animal safe after it dried and cured.. It didn't gas off. It was safe to put in aquarium water after like 72 hours.. I waited 7 days before it went into my tank. Never had issues with it at all. Problem is they discontinued making this product. I can find it on amazon but its $12-$32 a can.. which is ridiculous..
1st question:
I not like the outside of the box being white. What can I paint it with that will be non toxic to my BRB? I really dislike the white.. I have it on a black stand.. I don't care that the interior is white.. Just not a fan of the white on the outside..

2nd question:
What do you does everyone use to clean and sanitize your tubs and enclosures prior to putting animals in them.. and what do you use to clean them when they need cleaned? I know there is "snake enclosure cleaners" out there.. just wondering what everyone uses and likes.

Thanks in advance for the help. Much appreciated.

Troy

Re: Enclosure questions

Hi,

You can use regular paint on the outside of the enclosure, just make sure it is completely dry before adding your boa. I use a 10% bleach solution to sanitize all water bowls, and also use it to completely clean the cage about 2-3 times a year.

Thanks for the info. I will prolly use a plastic spray paint then to match the stand.
Will have to pick up a spray bottle from the store then to get the box cleaned up and sanitized..
