Jack the Eastern indigo

Never a dull moment with an Eastern indigo. This is Jack, I've had him since he was a baby. He is now about 7' long and a real ham. Tonight I opened his cage to feed him, and in an instant he came flying out of the cage and plopped onto the carpet. I guess he was really hungry!

Took him outside the other day for some pics and exercise.

Wow, I don't even have the words. Beautiful, Magnificent, Splendid, Astounding, and Amazing are the first adjectives that come to mind so they'll have to due. I'll throw in Phenomenal too. Seriously, that's one really awesome critter . There's something really special about seeing a snake outdoors too.

Re: Jack the Eastern indigo

He's a very impressive snake! Eastern Indigos, in my opinion, are one of the most fascinating snakes in the US. I'm hoping that one day I can see one in the wild.
