New Girl on the Block

Picked up this one on the 4th...woman couldn't keep it because of her boyfriend. I said, "ditch the boyfriend, keep the snake!"

Put together another BoaMaster melamine enclosure for this new snake and propped it up on a 10" base by BoasMaster; once I get the second enclosure put together tonight and tomorrow, I'll plop it on top of the this one (Sunday) and then re-home my sub-adult CRT Salmon Hypo. I need the 20gal the Hypo is in to house my tri-colored Hognose I'm getting this weekend.

Re: New Girl on the Block

Congrats on the nice new addition Scuba. I love the girth of boas.

Nice pickup, I thought I was buying a lot of snakes in the last 6 months. You've got me beat by a long shot! Haha

Re: New Girl on the Block

Yeah, 14 since late February, and I'll have three more by Tue/Wed of next week; but until I get everyone in 4'x2'x19" and my long snakes in 8'x3'x30" enclosures, I've set a temporary moratorium on my collecting.

Unless of course something hits me up alongside the head and says, "buy me!"

Re: New Girl on the Block

Did you get her number and ask if she wants to move north?
