Re: So, this just happened...

Thanks all! I am really excited about this one. She's 6 feet of insane muscle (I am always amazed at the sheer strength of BC compared to my carpet pythons)... and it appears she is a "mover".. Gonna take a little time to get her to mellow (at least I hope she slows down).
I'll let her settle in a few days, offer some food, then begin working with her.
I'll be looking for a nice Guyana boyfriend for her at some point.

Very pretty snake! I'm curious to know what sized water bowls you use for your larger snakes. I try to provide a water bowl large enough for the snake to get in if they want to. For the large snakes, that would be a bit of a challenge since it would take a wash tub sized water bowl for your new girl.

Re: So, this just happened...

I keep the humidity at about 60% and only use the size water bowl in the pic. I have used larger bowls in past, but if I housing a primarily arboreal/terrestrial animal, I find they don't really soak much (unlike an anaconda, water snake, etc)...
Just my method.
