sunrise rat?

i picked up a beautiful snake at an expo today, the breeder was calling it a "sunrise rat snake" but when i got home and googled it i didn't find many pictures- and none that looked much like my new snake. he wasn't expensive so i doubt he's rare in any way. he's active and seems curious, i've got him set up with a 75 degree cool spot and an 85 degree hot spot, but i'd love to know more- does anyone here have one? do they get as large as black rat snakes? i'll post some pics as soon as i figure out how to resize the photos!

Black Rat

Sunrise is T+albino and rusty. A lot of morphs look different when they are young compared to their adult colors.

Re: sunrise rat?

It looks like a rat snake to me but I'm not familiar with the sunrise morph. It's still a pretty critter . Did the breeder tell you much about the animal's history?

thank you! i know they have rat snakes all over world, i was worried it might be a morph of some exotic foreign subspecies that needs high temperature or something!
