Thats becaue they are so rare, none in canada (to my knowledge) and only very few in the states. It has something to do with legal exporting from equador!
Those are sweet! Very pretty. Were does it say how much? Are they really expensive or what? I have to say they should be considering the lack of them in Canada. But there should be a limit in price to spark interest. They obviously grow to the same size right? I would get one as a pet just because of space needed to breed them. But having said that due to the rarity of this locale they should go to breeders. I really like it though and I hope they get established in Canada! That is my favorite Red tail

ya quite expensive (only now) but if we can get them established in canada, then i imagine they will run for the same price of bolivians and peruvians!
