@ Danny- My jungles and coastal will eat larger prey items with no issues. My Bredli seems to be growing at a slower clip than the other carpets and apparently prefers smaller meals for now. I'm inclined to agree with Aaron that it's just this specific critter. I did shine a light on him when I went to check and see if he had finished his meal but it looked like he was still working on it. When I came back a few minutes later he had spit it out. Maybe I did spook him a little.

Thanks El Z. Yep, I guess that's why averages etc should be used with caution when dealing with reptiles. 90% may behave by the book but then the other 10% like to challenge you. My IJ is all carpet in meal sizes though!

@Aaron-I'm a brave man and push my luck when it comes to the wife! Another one for your repertoire-you're not half as clever as you think I am...
