Question Why is my mezican king snake not growing?

I got this guy when he was a pretty young from my sister who didn't want him, he is almost 2 and he eats regularly about every 10 days or so and sheds fine has a good appetite and is active and overall seems healthy, he grows in length but not in girth. He is still on fuzzies, because by the size of his body their just seems to be no way he could eat anything bigger and I don't want to try and him to hurt himself or something. I'm worried I want him to reach the size he should be. Any advice?

Snakes can eat larger food items than you would expect! General rule of thumb is to feed snakes prey 1 to 1.5 times the widest part of their body.

I would also switch from every 10 days to every 7 days if he's underweight. Once he gets up to a healthy size you can go back to 10 days.

What are your enclosure specs? Type of enclosure, Temperature (warm and cool sides of the enclosure), Humidity etc?

if your worried about going up a size you can offer 2 fuzzies each feeding instead of one. I
also 2nd everything pareeeee said.

I got my MBK as a hatchling it fed it a fuzzy from the get go. I was told it was eating pinks but they were way too small for it.

I agree with everyone post. The more he or she consumes the faster they grow. I've personally never kept any colubrids but I've seen them in action. And I personally don't start none of my snakes on mice rat pups and up all my retics started off on 2 rat pups and the boas I've kept my rule of thumb is I up the size after 3 or 4 feedings of the same size then upgrade.

Also sometimes there will suddenly be a growth spurt that will take place. Yeah, a occaisional rat pink or hairless hopper may jump start a growth spurt. Nice looking MBK.
