What is the most surefire way to make a snake strike at you?

I'm not trying to get a snake to strike at me (That would be silly and cruel) and this is just a general stupid question I had.

Let's say you have the nicest snake to ever live. That one snake that has been around for years and is so docile it's never hurt a fly. What would be the best way to make that snake get agressive with you? (Short of injuring it or outright cruelty)

Again I swear on my life that I'm not trying to get a snake to bite me. It's just curiosity

Rub a rat on your hands and reach into the enclosure or even hold the rat in your hand and reach into the enclosure, when it is feeding time of course. Honestly I don't really see how it would be cruel to the snake to get it to bite you.

There are many ways the snake could be injured by striking at you. One would be you could tear out a tooth which could then became infected. The second would be if the snake missed and hit something hard. Depending on the type of enclosure the snake could launch itself out and take a significant spill. Not to mention the injury you are adding by applying unnecessary stress.

It's cruel bc you are knowingly and unnecessarily provoking the animal into a defensive or feeding behavior. Essentially teasing the snake into a response that could lead to a injury to the animal or to the provoker.

I don't know, I seem to be a natural at this though. I get bit a lot of times when sticking my hand in enclosures lol If you handle a snake alot, they usually don't bite as much. Yesterday I got bitten by 3 species.

The worst bite I ever got was from my woma, taking a mouse out of the cage I thought she wasn't going to eat. She struck and wrapped around my arm, so basically being warmer and moving faster than the prey item made me seem a lot more appealing to eat.
