Happy Birthday Apollo! Crazy growth in just a year! He looks so badass
I'm wondering; what is that substrate he was on in the baby pic? Looks neat...
Thanks Panda. I thought the last picture was pretty menacing too . As Snoopy said, those are sani-chips in the first picture. I LOVE them. I bought a bag of sani chips and a bag of shredded aspen to see which I liked best and I'd say the sani-chips hands down. Even though the bulls do move it around a lot, it's less dusty than regular or shredded aspen and holds burrows well. I finished off that bag and have the snakes on shredded aspen now but as soon as I'm finished with the bag I've got (2) unopened bags of sani-chips ready to go.
Good work! He's really put on some size in the past year.

Thanks Em. He's no Loki but he's growing well . He's actually a little larger than my female bull was at the one year mark. She was 842g and he's 920g. She's a touch under 6ft and over 2100g now and she won't be two until September. I hope Apollo continues to follow suit.
