Question Waterfall Filter Capacity?

If I submerged (at least the bowl part of) an Exo terra waterfall in a small homemade pond (in the enclosure) of water, would the waterfall be able to filter all the water in the sectioned off part. I got this idea from this video.

You don't have to watch the video, its long and boring. Skip to 16:50 is part of the video.

Re: Waterfall Filter Capacity?

Well, actually I don't believe exo terra makes a waterfall filter, just waterfalls with a pump in them. I could only find the small one online but it is 45 GPH which will circulate, not filter, water up to about 5 gallons. TerraFauna does make a waterfall filter but it is just a 90 GPH filter, which is good for about 10 gallons.

Re: Waterfall Filter Capacity?

Okay thank you. I realized, what I was asking didn't really make any since, I was just confused for a second… I realized that you actually need a filter system if you were to have a section of water :/. I spoke before I thought… Anyway I figured out the answer to my question… kinda thank you.
