Re: ALL my pets!
I like them, I just would not keep it. Though I think it's awesome when somebody does keep them and enjoy them.

Re: ALL my pets!
No worries, I'm totally fine with arachnophobes as long as they're respectful of spiders. (I don't mind if people kill every spider in their home, though, since most people can't differentiate between harmless and dangerous spiders, even though I personally wouldn't kill them unless they posed a threat to my pets)

"Orb weaver" is actually an incredibly vague term, describing literally thousands of different species of spider :P Many of them are the most ornate of spiders, though. As for keeping them as pets; other than people who capture them outside and keep them temporarily, there doesn't seem to be much activity with them as pets. Perhaps it is due to the difficulty of breeding them and raising their offspring in captivity.

Re: ALL my pets!
Loved them all until I got to the spiders. While I think they are cool I would be hard pressed to let one crawl on me..
I see your a miyazaki fan, we had a red betta named Calcifer.

Interesting. Some people where I live call them Banana spiders. I've looked it up before and I've concluded it's the golden orb weaver spider. They are very pretty. Ever once in a while, they will build webs next to the doors and I will just watch the web grow and let them stay because I think they are pretty. Though I learned they have a mildly toxic bite. I still leave them.
