Help Identifying a snake

my neighbor went into her basement and found this snake just on the floor, we are located in Connecticut just in case Geologically it helps.

Help... i cought this guy but i dont know what to doo... he apeard in the kitchen.. its been a week and he ignoars the earth worm i give to him... please help.. so new at this.. i dont know right temperature or anything
