Yes, I'm noticing a difference now. What should the humidity be on the warm side, the cool side? I know between 50&70degrees, but hm.

as far as the covering goes it wouldnt matter if cardboard or wood was used once wrapped in foil. the other option would also be lexan or plexi glass as well. pathos are a vine like plant with broad leaves. kroton are a taller slender leafed plant. both are available in a few different colour varities. theyre both animal safe if they should somehow be ingested and should be at your local nursery at very reasonable prices. to see what they look like just do a google image search. I have them in empty vivs now to get established before I have snakes start climbing on them. A good trick I've found to get them growing real fast is I filled my monsoon misting system with either water from a friends turtle tank or from my moms koi pond. the high nitrate level makes a huge difference in their growth rates. once theres snakes with trhem Ill just being using regular filtered water.

40 gallon tank. Buy a "versa top ". They are sold at petland, petco, and petsmart. It will help your ambient temperature as well as your humidity. they are not that expensive either.
