vet clinic photo contest

Soo, my local vet clinic announced a photo contest with a top prize of $100 worth of free food. So naturally I posted my best pic, but I'm starting to wonder if I've made a mistake. I'm really not trying to offend the kittens and bunnies folks over there, I just think it's an awesome pic. I'm also curious to see if they'll give me $100 worth of frozen rats!!

While I certainly understand the desire to win the $100 of rats, I think you might want to reconsider the photo that you've entered. I believe your concerns are very well founded and the people making the decisions about the winner make find your photo a bit too graphic for their tastes. I'd recommend that you resubmit a different photo, perhaps one that show the beautiful subtle colors of your snake in a more natural setting. Just a thought...

I agree with Jim. Even though it's perfectly natural, like an Eagle eating a fish or wolves eating a deer, people may not appreciate the harsh reality of the natural world being thrown in their face.
