has this ever happened to you? & new photo.
To anyone who uses the fake half log hides, have they ever broken on you? had them soaking in hot water- bleach combination, and it literally just fell apart. weirdest thing. kinda pissed, only had it for a month or so. went out and got a new hide, meant for a fish tank but i think its perfect for them.
anyway, my final setups are complete!

mine completely split done the middle. i was still going to use the two halves seperatly because it was perfect sizing, but then it started to just crumble. what a waste of money. im beyond disappointed.

Yeah, I'm never going to buy anymore, I don't really think they are worth it. They are kinda expensive too.

I wouldn't care about spending the money on something worth while. i didnt even get three months out of it. it would be different if i had it for a year. but it was basically new.
oh well, ya live ya learn.

I like using macaroni boxes etc for hides for small snakes. They are disposable if they get messy, you can upgrade them as the snake grows, they are basically free.... very useful and cost effective. It sucks to spend money on expensive hides that the snake won't be able to use for a year at best.

I'd guess that The toilet paper tube is open both ends and not long enough for them to feel secure inside..

Turbo went in it once, and he was all curled up sleeping. so they can fit in it. they just prefer the top on the aquarium.

My adult corn's favorite hide is a cardboard box that used to contain computer components. He also has a cut up cereal box for his warm side hide.

Re: has this ever happened to you? & new photo.
My half log broke when I through it outside on the concrete floor. Now they make good hides for roaches, baby lizards and small salamanders.
