Question for all breeders of snakes...

So I'm not here to start any sort of argument or anything but I'm curious about how many snakes don't survive? I don't mean slugs and what not but after they hatch, how many don't make it? I've always wondered this and just thought I would ask. Again, not looking to start a debate or any arguments, just trying to gain done knoweldge. Thank you

Re: Question for all breeders of snakes...

Personally speaking, I've had one neonate Kenyan Sand Boa that passed away a couple of days after birth back in 2008. It did appear to have a slight kink halfway down it's body that may have contributed to it's death, but I really don't know. I've also had 2 stillborns, and two extremely underdeveloped babies that didn't make it over the past two years. What went wrong with these, who knows??? Still hurts to see those little ones come out absolutely perfect looking, but not alive
