Pink Belly?

I just picked up a male Ball last weekend, he is in good shape, however I noticed last night his bell is pinkish in color now. I have never seen this before in any of my others. Any feed back would help. Thanks

Re: Pink Belly?

It's going into shed.

Happens to all of my pythons.

Re: Pink Belly?

Not sure. Just a week and a half ago my GTP became pink in the belly and a few days later went into blue.

I don't really see this in my colubrids, mainly my boids.

Re: Pink Belly?

Here is a shot of my son's BP in Blue. This was a rescue we got a couple weeks ago from a guy who only had it a month and admitted he didn't know what he was thinking getting a snake. The snake was very dehydrated. He has perked up over the last week so I am hoping a shed helps him bounce back a little more.
