Money! I could never justify spending that kind of money on one snake. I did come across a Diamond a couple years ago for only $500.00 but by the time i had the money it had been sold. My wife says once i start breeding and making some money i can save it and get me a Diamond Python. Heck the main reason i want to breed is to make some extra money so i can buy some of my favorite snakes and morphs.

1. Carpet Python.. I'm thinking I'm leaning towards a jungle. I will actually be getting one in November.
2. Jungle morph Leopard gecko.
3. Bearded Dragon.
4. Rosy Boa
5. Corn Snake
6. Crested Gecko
7. Some type of tortoise (not sure which yet- I won't be getting one anytime very soon)
8. Monitor lizard (I'm not sure which kind I would prefer yet.. might not ever get one)


The only reptile my husband really wants is a snake that will wrap around his arm and a veiled chameleon.

That's the problem Diamonds you get a lot of crosses that look just like the real thing but they're not pure breed. At that price i can guarantee it's a cross. The real pure diamonds start at $800.00 on up. I seen a few people try selling obvious crosses for $600.00 or more. They try making you feel like your getting a deal, but they are just ripping you off. The key to buying a diamond is ask to see the parent and do your home work ahead of time so you don't get taking. There's only a handful of breeder in the US that breed pure diamonds.
