It depends from the friends. We are few but we are very passionated with herps. Herps are all my life! I keep Herps since 1996. Right now i have 24 herps, 50 mice, 20 rats, many crickets, many mealworms that their care depends to me. Which are your Greek friends? Are they herpers?

Actually my 1 greek friend is definitely NOT a herper! LOL He was only by my house once & nearly flipped when he found out that he was in my basement with around 40 burmating snakes (he thought they were all 2 floors away in my snake room). He usually just visits me at my neighbours house now. LOL Its funny to see a 280 lb guy that can lift like 500 lbs be so scared over a few harmless snakes. Anyhow Good Luck & Keep The Faith, Stand Proud & Stay Free! Mark I. - GONE SNAKEE! Calgary, Canada

Yeap! People here in Greece has a fear for some animals, including mice, rats, snakes. Here we don't have mice and rats as pets. Only hamsters and guinea pigs. I hardly can find some people to bare my herp hobby. The only she friend that i have who likes herps - and owns is sdoup (she brought me here in ssnakess) Hi sdoup! Oh and my mom
The only thing i am going to say is:

Thanks, the very strange thing with this snake is that she likes human flesh! lol. 4-5 times ago on feeding time (here let's say that i took her out of her terarium on feeding time, because she shares it with the corn snake) she passes the mouse in front of her mouth and when she is close to my arm, she stops, make some flicks with her tongue and opens her mouth to swallow my...arm lol. Never my hands has mouse or other animal's smell. It's quite strange. One thought i made is that these asian rats has tendencies to birds. Is there a chance that it smells my arm for a bird? I have this snake since hatchling and i never fed it birds. Any ideas?

In reguards to the liking human flesh comment. I used to have a large female who was as gentle as a lamb, but if she was hungry would try to eat me every time. If she was starting to get nippy, it meant time to feed her. The last thing anyone needs is an 8 ft Beauty wrapped around & trying to eat their arm. LOL Mark I.

But here is the strange thing. She is not agressive, she just make a few flicks and just opens her mouth to grab my arm. Then she understands that cannot swallow it and finaly goes away.
