So .. change.
So, some major changes may be coming my way ... And its not looking like animals are going to be a part of it.
I know I has posted on the annoyance thread about how awesome my work situation is. I am not in a good place. I get the money I need, but I am not happy. Other than my animals I have nothing going for me in my life. Over the past few days I have been spending some time with family and was given an opportunity that is really hard to pass up, and if I can make it happen , it would be amazing.The only problem is the fact that I will not be able to keep my animals... And that is a very hard thing for me. Animals have been my main sourse of enjoyment and satisfaction for a very long time, and I can't think of a time when I have not had an animal of my own. Its hard for me to imagine.
The plans aren't set in stone or anything, but its a very good possibility I may have to rehome my animals and its harder than I thought it would be.

Its hard to give you any input (Idk if thats what your looking for..?) when you haven't really told us what the opportunity is. I'm in the same boat with regards to my animals, don't really have much else going on since my family isn't here and I'm alone in an unfurnished apartment lol
But if a good opportunity came along, I'd probably take it. Good opportunities don't come around every week and often don't come at all when you really need them. Animals will always be available (I hope) for you to start a new collection again.

Essentially I'd be doing pretty much the same thing except working with my sister and kids that I love... Rather then where I am now , where I want to walk out every single day.

This. I work with my father, you don't want your sister to be writing your paychecks. Relationships can turn sour very quick, and being your sister, its not as official if she decides she doesn't have the money or can't pay on time etc. etc.

I don't take any offence at all at I know it is probably coming off that way. However I do know first hand how fast and how often family work relations and other situations can go down the crapper. I would not put myself in that situation with out,really planning things out in advance, and knowing with out question what was expected of me, and what I expected from them. Technically I would be working for my brother in law and not my sister - which may not seem like that big of a difference .. Bit believe me with this guy it will. I do not intend to become another house slave, I will have my own living arrangements. . But it will allow me to live in an area I am far more fond of. Honestly its more of a small stepping stone and with the connections in the area that my brother in law and his family have in the area ultimately it will hive me the chance to do what I really want to do.

Well it looks like I will be moving at least until Christmas. Which means I am going to have to re home animals. It is going to be hard.
You may thing I am foolish, but I will not be working for my sister for long. Its just getting my foot in the door so to speak.It really is a better situation.

Yes, it will be, but sometimes you have to take steps to put yourself in a better place before you can keep up with the responsibility of having animals. I hope this move works out for you.

The area where I will be living does not allow animals. I am not going to push the issue. it should be a good thing though.
