carpet python question

hey guys so i just have a quick question. I recently got my new coastal carpet python, it feeds on rat pups. it's used to eating live and will never refuse a meal. Should i make the switch to f/t? and if so, any suggestions on how to make the snake take it?

Re: carpet python question

Switching is much safer for the snake and more convenient for you.

Just try one day and if he takes it you're golden

Re: carpet python question

Every snake is different some take first time some don't, it won't hurt to offer just be consistent offer once a week.

It won't hurt the snake not eating it can go for months.
