What type of snake is this?

Hi, I found this snake in our home (inside) at the kitchen. Almost, got me bitten.

I am just worried, because this is the second time I saw it. The first one, was a bit longer than this. Look's like the mom. This maybe a child?

I live in the Philippines. It is so hot right now in Manila, around 36deg.
