Converting aquarium techniques?

Ok, so over the years I have gained quite a few tanks from people who have no use for them and just give them to me for free knowing about my hobby.

Right now I have a few spares: 75 gallon, 29 gallon, 20 gallon, 10 gallon, 10 gallon aquarium tanks just sitting around (the 75 is outside because its old and glass and weighs like 300 lbs)

Does anyone here have any ideas on how to convert these to vertical cages for ATBs or GTPS or even geckos, like an exoterra style type thing with an opening front door made of glass?

I'd like to see what people use to convert theirs. Thankss

Re: Converting aquarium techniques?

If the 75 gallon has a bar across the top frame (or evne if it doesn't), you can get the aquarium glass tops for one side, and just glue them in place. The glass tops would be 24" (what you would normally get for a 20-gal High).

Likewise, you can just get some glass cut to inset of the frame of each tank, and hot-glue hinges for doors.

Re: Converting aquarium techniques?

Let's just take a moment to recommend Plexiglas.
