Question Hog Island Boa vs Jungle Carpet Python

I am completely stuck between these two snakes and would love a comparison!

I'm pretty stuck on getting a female I am building a 4' x 2' x 2.5' enclosure, so plenty big for either species.

I need to know how these two species compare as far as:

- Want it to be a good display snake- not just hiding or sitting like a log constantly. I would really like something that makes use of branches in the tank.

- How they are with feeding (does either species tend to be finicky?)

- Size (both length and girth)

- Which species tend to get stressed less easily? (My ball python stresses ssooo easily).

- Temperament (I know carpets are nippy babies- I am talking about once the snake is an adult. Figure that I will be getting the snake as a baby and working to 'socialize' it.)

PICTURES that depict what size these snakes achieve as adults would be very appreciated.

Thank you!

Then you're getting a carpet python. Lol. From what everybody told me, the carpets are of the more active and arboreal (tree climbing) species.

As some of the other members on here put it, Jungle carpets are basically bomb proof. They are active snakes, mine used to perch at night on some branches like a green tree, with the purple night light...pretty cool.

I'd say jungle carpet as well.

some snakes wont "calm down" with handling or age, just so ething tou should be aware of before gettingone. Some are just ornery and will bite for no reason.
