Just discovered this section,

I have been in the varanids section religiously for about a week or something. Name is Sami, from CT / USA .... I spent some time overseas so whatever reptiles I did have I got rid of, when I came back (just recently) I wanted to try something new so decided to get into monitors. Bought a roughneck and was unprepared, came here for help. Fixed some stuff, in the end I rehomed him and learned not to buy the animal before his enclosure is ready.

Trying to gather what I can about husbandry, future plans only include monitors for me.

oh, and I'm 23 ish Molecular/Cell bio major (taking longer than I should because I like to take time off to travel )

Thanks guys, poison I take it you keep frogs? Where in the U.S are you, I'm not familiar with a town/city called pluto lol
