Please help I cant upload my pics

I have been trying to upload some pictures of my corns I have only managed to use tiny photos when I try to use a bigger one it keeps saying file to big I don't know how to alter them without making them so tiny they are useless, I have seen some brill photos on here and I would love to put up some of mine, the camera I am using is a fuji finepix A201, I hope you can help. Thanks..

Use a photo editor to compress and resize them to a manageable size. They'll upload without problem then.

can you tell me what editing program you use I have tried a couple but don't know how to compress or resize hope you can help Thanks again..

Hi, check what type of file extension your pics are being saved to (.bmp, .jpg, .tif, ...) your best bet is to have them saved as .jpg as this file type has te best compression without losing quality. If you have Microsoft Photo Editor, this is te easiest way to do it. If your photos are already have a .jpg extension, use the 'Save As...' command and reduce the file quality, you will see the meter bar once you press 'More>>' (Photo Editor). Hope this helps.

For your photo gallery account it is 250k per picture, for attachments it is 25k, Hope this helped
