FNG Here!
Yup I'm the new guy! I'm trying to get into carpet breeding.. Still getting things ironed out and am very new to things.. I'm OMG interested in breeding Diamonds to Carpets and even more so in Green Trees to Carpets. Just got my second female (Jungle Jag) and will hopefully be getting a male soon(Still have some research to do). Any and all feed back on these topics would be useful.

hello and welcome
my advice would be to do a lot of research into Diamond Python husbandry...
their husbandry is way different to all the other Carpets
yearly cooling cycles and only feeding 6 months of the year, also UVB is thought to be benificial for Diamonds
they can suffer from Diamond Python Syndrome if kept incorrectly,ALL their bones go brittle ansd start breaking, there is NO cure for this illness
cheers shaun

She's form a clutch last year in April. Got her for a good price.. at least I think. I'm still soaking up everything I can but I think she will be a nice one to start with when ever I get up to speed on breeding.. Any thoughts?
