Snake hooks, not just for handling snakes.

They're also great for fishing out BluRay remotes from under the couch.

Does anybody else find these tools increadibly handy other than for their intended purposes?

Re: Snake hooks, not just for handling snakes.

My kids have figured out that when they stuff too many clothes down the laundry chute and it "clogs up", they can use my snake tongs to grab said clothes and unclog the chute. I gotta give 'em props for being creative....

I use my "extendable" snake hook to scratch my back. I can adjust it to different lengths for different areas. Perfect.

Re: Snake hooks, not just for handling snakes.

My daughter fishes for chickens. She'll squish fruit or bread on the end and stick it in the coop and laugh while the birds pluck the food off. Amusing until she broke it.

I need a decent set.
