If I take mine out at all they normally find their way into my cleavage and hide in the warmth.

Fluffy my ball python will chill on my lap no probem.
Spot my carpet python likes to keep going up, but, if he's not actually on me, he'll try to sneak away every time I turn around...

My BP usually wraps around my hand or tries to get anywhere dark.
My Rosy Boa will chill on my lap, but usually he is very inquisitive and will try to tangle himself in my hair (what a nightmare!) or just get into general mischief.

My BCI has a tendency to wrap around my right arm, loop around my back and rest its head on my left shoulder. I can often feel its cold and slow breath against my face.

50 shades of grey with reptiles... Awesome.
If I were a snake those would be the places I would be hangin out. LOL...
But seriously, my snakes prefer their rack bins. I do not handle them too often. Just enough to get them used to being moved during cleaning. The hognose snakes are easy to work with. The carpets on the other hand have a huge feed response and usually strike first before they realize there is no food. Once out, they are pretty chill but try to climb off me to get to anything they can reach.
Our Varanids are almost never handled and prefer their spacey caging. I can care less if they "trust" me or not. All we worry about is keeping them properly to the point that they are healthy, thriving, and breeding.

Personally, I start to worry when I see a reptile heading for my "private areas"
One quick munch, and explaining yourself to the doctors is going to be a challenge in itself.

Maybe that's why I like cranky B'stards, less temptation to handle.

I quite simply don't have the time. And with babies around (and being a mild germaphobe), anytime I mess with the animals, I have to immediately wash and sanitize my hands afterwards. So if I'm sitting on the couch with the snake in my lap, and then the wife suddenly hollars for me to help do something with one of the kids, I got put the snake up, go wash my hands, then go to the task at hand.
Its just a lot of hassle to have them out like I used to when I was single and young, so I just don't bother messing them much any more.

Re: Where is your snake's favorite place on you?
I think I take my snakes out once a month. More to do a basic clean of the viv and look them over but I do enjoy spending a few minutes with them just hanging out. The only one I never handle is my GTP I love him but he loves to nom on me when given a chance.

Re: Where is your snake's favorite place on you?
My CA king has a metabolism that forces me to handle him every other day. It's a question of me not being able to handle the smell. He also takes a dim view on spot cleaning.
