Super excited
so i decided a little while ago that i was gonna attempt to breed crickets cause i was spending about 50 60 bucks a month of them from petstore. so anyways i read alot watched alot of youtube and the general feeling i got was that they where hard little devils to breed especially in cooler climates.
well anyways i figured i'd try anyways set aside a couple bucks of crickets and see what happens. my first set of eggs failed nothing hatched so than i moved my egg laying tubs ontop of our surround sound that lets off a little heat. checked them last night nothing checked them today about an hour ago and i got about 1000 crickets and more hatching. so now i got them set up in a big plastic tote with a heat light over the egg container damp paper towel for water some oats and carrots and lettuce for food and some papertowel tubs for them to crawl on.
anyways im so proud of myself because everyone told me i couldnt do it that it was too tedious and elimates had to be absolutely perfect and i couldnt get perfect in my climate without a incubator.
well i did it and honestly they could all die on me and i dont care because theyv hatched and i made them hatch lol.
