My Checkered Garter

I thought Wayne and others would like this little guy.... Last year while herping with my son we found this male Checkered Garter. My son insisted that I bring him home. When I kept checkereds in the past I used to have to go to the pet store and buy feeder fish for them.....But this little guy was a rodent feeder from the start. He was found in an area that had lots of rodents...... He's surely growing great....I need to find him a mate soon...

Re: My Checkered Garter

Just love the normals... This snake is far more handsome than an albino.

Re: My Checkered Garter

There is nothing better than the playfulness and the attitude of a garter, both in captivity and in the wild.
