G'day!
Hello, I just joined ssnakess and thought I would introduce myself.
The nickname's limey. I grew up in England, now living in Alaska. Unfortunately, we don't have any wild snakes in Alaska which is a shame!
I'll be 26 this year, married, have one labrador retriever and thinking of getting a snake soon (don't own one yet). Seen plenty of wild snakes on my world travels and hope that maybe some of you guys will be able to help me identify what they might be from the photos I took... since I'm no expert.
I'll have to dig up some of those photos soon...
Best,
limey

Re: G'day!
Welcome, Limey. Alaska is quite cold I imagine... would love to visit some day. You'd have to keep your snake indoors all year round I suppose. What kind of snake would you like to have?

Re: G'day!
Hello and welcome
Lots of snakes to choose from just make sure you do plenty of research prior to getting the one you want.

Re: G'day!
For a while I was torn between corns and ball pythons. Settled on the ball python. And the wife promised to get me one for my birthday... for 3 years now she has sucked terribly at birthday presents and I think this one will be the best ever!
Got most of my setup ready well ahead of time. Done my research (well... the research never ends when you're as fanatical about animals and conservation as I am) and am very much looking forward to it!
