Joined the forum to gain information if needed for looking after our new corn snake bought in November. Its all part of my master plan of not creating a 'pink frilly princess' in this world we now live in for my daughter.
We went out last summer in search of grass snakes and slow worms during her holidays here in France to gain her interest and it was her who choose getting a blood red corn and named him 'Chilli'.
He was just over a year old and around 60 cms long when we bought him and after 4 sheds he is now around 75 cms long.
Just recently he became very active and stopped feeding, it was thanks to joining the forums that I discovered it was the call of spring and he was in search of a mate. I managed to get him to eat yesterday after 2 weeks after braining the mouse and covering the feeding box to give him no distractions.
Hi and welcome to the forum. That's a pretty corn ;-)
