That would be sweet, but we use the computers too much.

Littlefoot will arrive just as Chomper did, in a deli cup inside a dark box with a heat pack.

It's a traumatic experience, so once he/she arrives, the very first thing that is going to happen is to be immediatly placed in the enclosure and left alone for the next day or two after.

The very worst thing anyone could do is start bothering the poor little thing right off the fed ex truck.

I know, but I thought maybe it's the breeder's picture of him.
Sounded okay in my head

Breeder... I WISH.

Littlefoot is another hatchling from eggs imported from Africa

It's a sad process, eggs are dug up in Africa and sold for very little over here.

I can only imagine, if the baby monitors average $35-40 retail, then they must be about $20 wholesale, factor in shipping from Africa and some African kid got paid 50 cents an egg to violate Sav nests.

Re: Getting ready for Littlefoot..Day 2. (more pics)

Extremely rare.

Another very sad fact, Chomper out lived 99% of the Savs imported by 4 years or more.

Many wind up in fish tanks with screen tops, get fed dog food, fall victim to RAPID dehydration, are kept too cold and get respiratory infections quickly, are mauled by well meaning people until they just give up and stress to death.

That baby pic is cute and a hoot!

I imagine many folks hear "savanah" and "Africa" and because the savanahs of Africa are hot and dry they assume those conditions for the monitor.

I think the forum is as anxious to see Little Foot as you are Wayne!
