I have to admit, Roaches fascinate me for some reason. Does that make me weird?

In a word...YES...but all of us are weird. So we fit together rather nicely.

I had a pet hissing roach, until it drowned itself.
I think that the giant hissing roaches are really neat, and I'll get another at the next reptile show, but this next one will get water via a sponge in his dish, and not just water in a shallow dish.

That's a great price. Online they are about $50 for that many I think. You can find private breeders with extra that well them cheap though

vid, now.

I should start a roach colony so when I finally do have something that can eat them I've got plenty. What's their life span?

Re: What nightmares are made of...

The 1000ish roaches were 80$, but they were infested with fruit flies.
A few hours work and I can proudly say, out of the 100s of flies in the bin there are NONE flyin around. and all eggs have been disposed of.

Btw... any I the only one who noticed that randy is back?

Ill see what I can do about the video right away. Its pretty damn cute.

As for their life span, they live a good long time. It takes them about 4-6 months or so to mature and then they live for a further 18-24 months.
