Does it just sit on top of the substrate by itself? Where did you get it from and what kind? I'm working on getting a more natural habitat set up, and I think moss would be nice. If I were a snake, I imagine I would like it.

We use Sphagnum moss in all our snakes vivs on top of the substrate and/or for humid hides, quite like the look of it and it helps with humidity too.
