I did about 30 years ago, barely remember the story..... except ever since then I can't help wondering what ducks do in winter.

I remember even less of Duddy than I thought I did!!!!
Got him confused with the Catcher.

How about I rephrase my original answer to ... I read it but remember nothing about it in my old age? Seems I get it confused with The Catcher in the Rye and.... well,... ask me no questions and I can not lead you astray.
