Baby Red Eyed Tree Frog
Hi Everybody,
This is my boyfriends little tree frog, it's name is Kiwi
He got this little fella in september as a pet for school, it's absolutely adorable and he's thinking of getting some more :P
I've done a bit of research but pretty much everything says it's very difficult to tell the gender of these frogs, has anybody here heard differently or know how to do it?

Re: Baby Red Eyed Tree Frog
i know with most frogs its the size, females are much larger than males, like for Red eye tree frogs females get about 3 inches and Males only 1 inch

Re: Baby Red Eyed Tree Frog
he's honestly adorable!
Neither my boyfriend or I has ever had a frog before so we don't know if he's just growing quickly because he's a baby or if he is really a SHE, I guess time will tell

Re: Baby Red Eyed Tree Frog
Ashby was here for the weekend and had a long time friend look after him, somebody who has looked after him before. Ashby just got home to this horrible news. Ashby said he looks like he was mid movement (not sleeping) and that the humidity was right, and that there were crickets in the dish and water in the water dish
