Walmart RED/BLUE bulbs SAFE for nite viewing???

Walmart BLUE/RED bulbs SAFE for nite viewing?
SITUATION:I'm building a new enclosed canopy for my Suriname red tail boa. The canopy is to house the day and night time viewing lights, as well the auto fog and rainfall system. The lights are only for viewing the terrarium display, and while of course they do produce a bit of heat, they are not the prime source for heat as I have a UTH (under tank heater) on a thermostat.

I've heard a bunch of info regarding bulbs for night viewing lateley, but I'm still not sure of the science behind it. Ive heard black lights are bad, that they can cause blindess to snakes, or that "true black lights" (whatever that is) are safe, ive heard blue are safe, or that red are safe only if its true red glass and not dipped.....ugh...HELP! =)

QUESTION: Basically.... are these BLUE and RED colored ECOBULBS from Walmart safe to install in my new canopy for night time viewing??? If you have the time can you explain why yes/no? ....in a simple way? =)
Any help, suggestions, would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Here are the bulbs in question:

RED: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Feit-Elect...b-Red/16927815
