They look pretty cool, I found a black whip snake on one of my trips to florida (I was 9), can barely remember what it looked like but I think it looked like that.

I got him from a guy in Florida. He's a Southern Racer.
Getting him started was a nightmare, he would only eat live Anoles for his first 10 or so meals before he would take pinkies.

too bad they grow out of that awesome patterning, still cool snakes, i bet they'd be great trainers for something like a mamba. But i dont know why anyone would want a mamba when these guys are just as cool, minus the venom
