Uhmmm???

Hey guys,

This may come accross as an odd Q, but seeing as I'm from upside down land....

What doe s a "normal" or wild type corn snake looks like, I honestly have no idea due the myriad of morphs they have and the different morph names?

Re: Uhmmm???

Honestly, most of the normals out there aren't normals anymore. People mass produce the crap out of them and most of the ones sold are improperly labelled.
I believe this is a normal but don't sue me if I'm incorrect:P

Re: Uhmmm???

That's fairly normal but I do believe it's called an okeetee. I think it's just a locale.

Re: Uhmmm???

Yeah, that's a "Normal" Okeetee...Aaron's right, it's just a locale. For a truly "Normal", stereotypic corn snake, simply imagine the picture Stephan posted with less pronounced black bands around the saddles, and there you go

Re: Uhmmm???

There are several different locales of corns that are all considered normals. Here's a picture of my normal:

Re: Uhmmm???

I cant post a pic atm but if you look at my thread -random-pics-my-brb-corn...in the photography bit, thats a proper normal/wild phase.

This is a normal...my normal lol

That one first posted is an Okeetee, you can tell by the thick black saddle borders.

This is a great morph website

I'm not sure you can really classify one specific snake as a "true" normal, since there are so many varieties/locales of normals. I'm not sure if you were referring to the photo I posted, but my snake is definitely not an Okeetee, and neither sassy_snake_lady's.

EDIT: The first snake pictured is an Okeetee, but the others are not.
