Put it like this if you saw a random man beating a women (or child), you would step in correct?? (if not your a coward) Same goes with if your friend (ally) was in the same situation id assume you'd help right? and wouldnt consider it just sticking your nose in some one Else's business.

I hope i dont sound offensive at all, my father served in Dessert Storm in 91, and ive never heard anyone say they aren't grateful for his service. (not saying you said that at all) I understand you said from what you've been told, but in my humble opinion you've been told wrong.
I have nothing to say, seeing as i was 4 or 5 yrs old at the time, and know no one who served over there, i was probably told wrong.

I would intervien if i seen a woman or child getting abused, i would probably beat the guys *** for it too, but doing that is a little different in involving 2 or more countries in a war..

thats all im saying. I WAS TOLD WE SHOULDNT OF BEEN OVER THERE. i dont know one way or the other.

I understand i was young at the time to. America helps her Allies, Kuwait is an ally who was invaded by Iraqi forces under Saddam Hussien in Aug of 1990. We deployed our forces in Saudi Arabia as a base to effectively defeat Saddam and his armies. Usama Bin Laden's native country is Saudi, our presence there is why he turned his attention to us in the first place. There was a time were America supplied arms to Bin Laden and the regime that waged war against Russian forces in Afghanistan, wierd right? hahah. Saddam was burning oil fields that supplied the U.S. and He ''was" responsible for more deaths of innocent women in children then we can ever be sure of. Everyone has there own opinion though hard to say whos right or wrong.

Your right i didnt learn about it in school either till last fall semester, i took a class listed "Late American History 1877-2000". Instead of an elective, (not the best choice lol) But never learned about it in High School. And like i said i didnt want to sound offensive even in the slightest just wanted to share my thoughts. I use to play CS:S probably to the point it was unhealthy for me lol.

I had just turned 11 when the towers fell. Had no idea I would be going to fight the same war it triggered at the time. Ahh suprises.

Re: Osama Bin Laden killed near Pakistani capital!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched it all live on TV.

Don't know why, I never watch Matt Lauer, I turned on NBC just in time to see the smoke from the first plane, sat there glued to it, and watched plane number two fly into the second tower live.

By the end of that day, things were so weird.. We live near the approach for an airport, the circle patterns are directly over my house. (The airport is MILES away, so they are circling at many thousands of feet up)

There were NO planes overhead, except the occasional air force squadron on patrol.

Re: Osama Bin Laden killed near Pakistani capital!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was at work at the time, the whole place came to a standstill and we huddled around pc screens watching online coverage, lots of tears and anger in that office that day.

Am i glad he is dead, yes and no.

One less evil man on the planetbut reports syy is organisation is run like an army. There are others who will take his place and possibly commit worse atrocities in his name.

In all of this "war on terror" i feel sorry for the average Muslim, Osama was no more a typical Muslim than a Ku Klux Klan leader is an average Christian, yet due to widespread ignorance all Muslims have been lumped together. I for one would be livid to hear that i was compared to the *** for being Christian. Unfortunatel extremists are the ones that make the news and thats where the misinformation starts.

Randy - thank you for fighting for us

Without evil, we have nothing to compare to "good"
